UCC Academy Designated Activity Company

UCC Academy is the in-house consultancy of University College Cork, based in Cork, Ireland. Established a decade ago, UCC Academy’s purpose is to define, develop, drive and deliver key projects that further the strategic goals of University College Cork. UCC Academy is a diverse collective of highly experienced project and programme managers, internationalisation specialists, creative service professionals, and subject matter experts. While UCC Academy’s primary interaction is with UCC, it also engages with strategic external partners nationally and internationally. UCC Academy has significant experience in managing a wide range of large-scale funded research projects, and it is uniquely positioned to deliver a customised and flexible management solution which best suits the needs of the project.

Role in the project

As the project management partner in Zero Hidden Hunger EU, UCC Academy is primarily involved in Work Package 1 (Project Management & Coordination). As such, the UCC Academy team will support the Joint Coordinators and wider consortium in the implementation, administration, monitoring, and control of the project. UCC Academy will also support Work Package 8 (Dissemination, Communication & Education) and Work Package 9 (Impact & Exploitation), contributing, where possible, to activities which will maximise the reach and impact of the Zero Hidden Hunger EU project.
