REM Analytics is a start-up based in Switzerland developing a novel method for targeted microbiome profiling. Passionate about empowering people to better understand their health and wellbeing, they use their technology to investigate the role of key microbes residing in our bodies.

Role in the project

REM will be working with DTU to better understand the role of the gut microbiome in overall Vitamin K status. They will be analysing microbiome profiles, notably microbes involved in Vitamin K pathways and menaquinone producing bacteria. This microbiome data will be correlated with endogenous production of menaquinones and absorbed levels of vitamin K.
