Terveyden Ja Hyvinvoinnin Laitos

The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) is an independent state-owned expert and research institute operating under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. THL promotes the welfare, health and safety of the population and conducts research and monitoring in these fields.

Role in the project

In the Zero Hidden Hunger EU project, THL provides data on nutrient intake and nutritional status of the Finnish population, particularly adults and pregnant women. Furthermore, THL serves as one of the core analytical hubs in the project.
